Overview

Polyetherimide (PEI) is a high-performance thermoplastic belonging to the polyimide family. Naturally amber-transparent, PEI offers excellent mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and high heat resistance. It also features inherent flame retardancy and superior electrical insulation. Because of its stability and machinability, PEI is widely used in demanding engineering applications and can be processed by injection molding, extrusion, or CNC machining.
